Movies and reflection

Watching a new movie, for newer reflection later on next year. Right now just remembering the movies we have seen before on Christmas break. Then playing a board game or board games trying a new favorite. So much to do, bring on Winter break!

New puzzles for 2017

Looks like puzzling views WILL be getting some new jigsaw puzzles for a Christmas. I will be donating the ones I have put together, to the local nursing homes. I make sure all the pieces are there before I donate them. I also donate new puzzles also. I like jigsaw puzzles so much. I look forward to the Christmas holiday season. I peruse the stores to check out the latest puzzles. I also create my own puzzles. I cannot wait to see what puzzle I get as a Christmas present. Just one or three jigsaw puzzles are fine with me.

Clocks and weather

Listening to the ticking of the clock. Summer is almost gone. The weather has gotten a whole lot cooler. Watching a favorite tv show that has different weather than I do. I don't think much about the weather last February. Just concentrating on this week.

One day

One day blends into the next. Some days stand out more than others. One day recently was when I got a new pet. Life changing and wonderful is how to describe it. One of the best presents ever! He is a mutt and was the runt of the liter. I like the runts.

Old movies

I like watching old movies. One cold rainy days I watch movies from the 1920's, 1930's and 1940's. I get lost in the plot and characters and the set. I saw the old Woody Allen movie The Purple Rose of Cario. I like how the woman went to the movies. Then she imagined that she was living a life like the movie. I would like to be a seamstress in a movie. I just saw the movie Beauty and the Beast.  Those costumes are so great. I would love to live in New York, to be a seamstress working there. 

Board games

With all the gaming that is out there, I still like to play a board game. My family recently played Sorry Sliders. It was great fun. I did find a couple of used board games. A few of them I had to borrow pieces from another board game to play it. The name of this particular game was Spy Alley. We had enough people to play it, so it made it more interesting to see which spy, would be able to duck out without detection. We also played 5 Second Rule. That game has became a fast favorite with my family. Sometimes it's hard to go and see what games I can rent at the library or video store. When I know, I don't have any of the systems they have. Now if there were a board game store, where you can rent out games as easily as you can rent a systems game at the video store, I would sign up.

Movie night

Another day. Another movie night. Has anyone liked a movie so much that you just want to work as an extra in said movie? If for nothing else but to be in that town.

Trying out another day of things to do. Get the one book read. Puzzled how the character acts in the book, then seeing them in a movie. Then it gets made into a movie and it's not quite the same. A little better and a little different. Movie night gets me to thinking. I have to watch a different movie genre tonight.

Outside

Weather is what moves me. If I have a somber day. I sit outside with the sun on my back. Then when I've sat for about an hour. I feel better. I love living where the weather changes from season to season.

I have looked up different places online. And one of the places was in New Mexico. I check out the different stats on different cities. It's nice to see the photos of different places. To read the local newspaper online.

 I have lived where the weather can be extreme at times.  This was one of the joys of living in that state. I need to just get away sometimes. "To go where the wind moves me", is what I read in a book once. Like e a leaf in the wind. I just love the weather.
