Last day of Summer 2023

 Here we had a good summer. A couple of weeks of really hot weather. Cookouts and catching fireflies. Going to the movie theatres and making smores to eat. Lots of discussions around the dinner table during Family Brunches. Playing a board game after the dining table was cleared off. Watching the stars in the sky, pointing out the constellations. Having one person saying, “it’s been awfully hot this summer isn’t it?” Building birdhouses and having the squirrels drive my dog crazy. Car rides to go and get an ice cream treat for ourselves and pup cups for the dogs. It’s been a pretty good summer. 

First week of August

 The first week of August and summer is flying by. I have a list of things I want to do in August. I actually have a permanent list for all the months. I am hoping to get August list finished. Right now I am going to get more done now. I need coffee.

July is gone

The month of July is gone. It passed like a blip. So many things have happened. Working 12 hour days. Trying to get some things done. Not enough time. Have to pick what is not needed to do now. My to do list grows and grows. Saw one of my favorite bloggers. They said to get it done, set the timer for 10 minutes. You can get it done in 10 minutes at a time. No more no less. So I am writing here for 10 minutes. I have had so much to do before. I read some where to delegate the work. Sure you could delegate cooking the main meal of the day. Yet when I use my Crockpot. It’s easier to put a meal on the table. Or just fire up the grill and cook. Since it’s summer all types of potato salad and macaroni salad can be bought at the grocery stores. Timer went off. Until next time, I need a vacation
